• And that the new local car will not pollute the environment at all, because it will operate completely without emissions.
• Turkey will also manufacture the first non-classic electric sport utility vehicle (SUV) in Europe.
• And that the infrastructure for charging the electric car in Turkey will be fully ready by 2022.
• Erdogan continued, explaining: that the Turkish auto sector exports reached 32 billion dollars, indicating that today they have implemented two huge projects, which are the "Valley of Technology" and "the prototype of the local car."
He also indicated that Turkey has passed an era in the investment transportation sector, confirming that by offering the Osman Ghazi Bridge as an example, in addition to many mega projects such as Istanbul's highways, three bridges and airports that have been equipped to serve citizens.
And he added: “Today, more than 112,000 researchers work in 207 universities, 1572 research, development and design centers, and 85 technology zones, most notably the Technology Valley, which was opened on an area of 3 million square meters, 200 thousand of which will be allocated to be the largest centers of technological development in our republic. .
At the end of his speech: Erdogan stressed Turkey's progress to become a strong player that competes with the world with the products of the defense industry with a high technological concept.
