In the case of buying property in Turkey in order to obtain Turkish citizenship through investment, the Turkish law in this field sets some conditions that this property must fulfill in Turkey, including the value or price of the property The person used to obtain Turkish citizenship by investment is not less than the amount of two hundred and fifty thousand US dollars or more or the equivalent of this value in Turkish lira according to the foreign exchange rate. The foreign investor must also register this property regularly in the Tapu Department, whether Whether that property is ready for housing, apartments, or real estate with a floor easement, or is still under construction. The property must also be purchased from an owner holding Turkish citizenship, or this property in Turkey must be owned by a Turkish construction company. 
The price of the property used to obtain Turkish citizenship through investment must also be paid through a bank account, that is, through a regular bank transfer, and official papers must be attached when submitting the application to the real estate appraisal report, and this report must be issued by a company specialized in appraisal. Real estate must be licensed and approved by the Turkish government.

And now we will talk about the conditions that must be met by a person or foreign investor who wants to buy a property in Turkey in order to obtain Turkish citizenship by investment, which includes both that he holds one of the nationalities that are allowed under the Turkish law relevant to the issue of owning Real estate in Turkey by foreign investors and allows them to obtain Turkish citizenship through investment, as the Turkish naturalization law has already included all foreign nationalities, but with some exceptions that may affect some nationalities such as Syrian and North Korean. 
The buyer of the property must also be an adult, and accordingly, Turkish citizenship is granted to the owner of the property, as well as to his family from a wife and children under the age of eighteen, and the foreign investor is obligated to submit a pledge not to sell this property in Turkey, which may Use it to obtain Turkish citizenship through investment for a period of up to three years from the date of purchasing it. 

Secondly :Stages of naturalization in Turkey: 

The process of obtaining Turkish citizenship or naturalization in Turkey according to Turkish law is divided into several steps, and information about these steps and the importance of each one may vary, but it can be said that the most important of these steps is the security study, which is an essential and indispensable stage. On it, the entire decision to obtain Turkish citizenship is based on the applicant's failure to obtain it. 
And in cases of resorting to the method of obtaining Turkish citizenship through investment, that is, by buying a property in Turkey, the stages of naturalization are more easy and quick, as the process of completing the entire stages of obtaining Turkish citizenship usually does not require more than a period of ninety days, starting from the date of doing so. By submitting the necessary official papers in order to apply for Turkish citizenship until the date of obtaining the approval of naturalization and then receiving the identity card so that the person officially becomes a Turkish citizen enjoying all the rights and duties enjoyed by any Turkish citizen who holds Turkish citizenship since birth. 

Third :Necessary papers for obtaining Turkish citizenship: 

A copy of the property title deed that the foreign investor has purchased, i.e. the title deed or the promise to sell contract when buying a property within the floor easement or on the map, and this contract must be officially certified by the notary or the notary, and the real estate evaluation report and payment receipts must be submitted The price of the original property from the foreign investor’s bank account, and on it there must be the seal of the sending bank and receipts for the price of the original property from the seller’s account, as well as the seal of the responsible bank and two copies of the special agency from the buyer to his lawyer who received the request to obtain Turkish citizenship and a translation Passports into Turkish attestation, translated and attested birth certificate, and a copy of the marriage contract, if available, or the family statement document.

On May 13, 2022, the Turkish government issued a decision to raise the amount of obtaining Turkish citizenship through the purchase of real estate to a value of 400,000 dollars instead of 250,000 dollars. The decision has been implemented starting in June 2022.

The investor has the right to buy a real estate or several properties with the new amount of $400,000 in order to obtain citizenship, provided that the investor must keep the property for 3 years and he mustn’t sell the property he purchased for the purpose of citizenship before 3 years from the date of purchasing.
