The best place to find a property for sale in Turkey

Turkey is rich in the diversity of its cities that vary between coastal cities or rural cities or those that combine the countryside and the sea, which naturally helps with the diversity of its climate from one region to another, as well as the diversity of its residents’ activities and the diversity of the real estate market according to the nature of each city.

As for the preferred areas to buy real estates in Istanbul, investors prefer downtown areas such as Taksim, Sisli, Nisantasi, Bakirkoy, new areas such as Ispartakule, Basaksehir and Bahcesehir, or economic areas such as Basin Express.

 

2- Antalya

Antalya is a summer city and is a popular destination for Europeans, especially from Russia, Ukraine, Germany and England, which are the most buying nationalities there. 

Real estate sales in Antalya have been affected positively since the Russian invasion on Ukraine, as many Russians and Ukrainians have fled to Antalya, their most preferred destination, besides those who stuck as they came there to spend their holidays in that period. Once the war broke out, they remained here due to the catastrophic situation in their countries, which was positively reflected in real estate sales in Turkey, especially Antalya, as the war led to an increase in home sales and rents, according to data of Turkish industry, the war that has led some to rent apartments and others to buy properties.

Residential real estates’ sales in the city have jumped nearly 28% year-on-year in February to 4,727 apartments, while rents and house prices rose in most of Antalya's neighbourhoods.

 

3- Ankara

Ankara, is the administrative and political capital of Turkey, ranks second in the most Turkish cities in terms of investment value, and the capital is characterized by the high value of real estate investment in it during the past two years, It receives special attention from Arab investors who want to combine all the advantages of Istanbul in terms of educational and governmental services and the same quality and attention from the state, but at lower prices than in Istanbul, where real estate prices have doubled by 100% of their value, and some studies reported that the real estate market in Ankara, has witnessed a noticeable rise in the investment value over two consecutive years 2020 and 2021, and reports indicated that an increase rate of 25.8.

As for the "hepsi Emlak" official website, it noted in its report that the "Eti Mesgut" area is one of the highest areas in Ankara, with an increase in investment value of 121%, followed by "Cankaya" area in the second place with an annual increase of 115%, and then “Busaclar” is in third place, with an annual increase of 109%.

 

4- Bursa

Bursa is one the largest city in Turkey and it is a destination for Gulf Arabs investors in terms of industrial and real estate investment, as it has witnessed a large demand for real estate purchases in recent years, due to its nature as it is a tourist, industrial and agricultural city, and therefore was a destination for Arab investments in all fields, so the rate of demand for real estate is high.

Bursa is one of the most Turkish cities that encourages real estate investment and tourism at the same time due to its proximity to Istanbul, where it can be reached through distinguished ship trips, not to mention that it is a tourist destination for all visitors to Istanbul. The city witnessed a decrease in commodity prices, as well as real estate prices in Bursa compared to other Turkish cities, which resulted in great demand in purchasing real estate and villas in Bursa.

The diversity of business and trade opportunities in Bursa made it a business center, and it is characterized by the timber trade, as it is the largest and leading city in the furniture and wood sector in all Turkey, which prompted many foreigners and Turks to think about buying a property in it and finally settling there.

5- Trabzon

Which is known “God’s Paradise on Earth.” As Turks like to call it, Trabzon is a destination for Saudi real estate investments, as the Saudis ranked first as the most foreigners owning real estate in Trabzon, followed by Kuwaitis, Emiratis, Qataris and Jordanians, according to statistics published by the Trabzon Land and Real Estate Registry Directorate in 2018. The matter continues until the year 2020, as the Gulf Arab nationalities topped the highest percentage of real estate purchases in Trabzon, and the areas of Ortahisar, Konaklar, Boztape, Yomra and Ylincak are among the most attractive areas for real estate investments in Trabzon.

Ortahisar is the most attractive areas in Trabzon for traders, and the area is integrated with all services and facilities from hospitals, universities and schools, as well as shopping centers, perhaps the most prominent one is the Trabzon Mall, the area is distinguished with its sea view and its proximity to many sightseeing there, such as Uzungöl, Sumela Monastery and Sultan Murad Heights.
