Advantages of buying a detached villa:

1- Its price is more competitive:

Independent villas are less expensive than their counterparts in a residential complex, due to several reasons, which is the readiness of the villa for immediate housing, as it is often resale, secondly, the age of the villa is often used, and therefore its price is lower than its new counterparts in the same area, thirdly, few social facilities in these villas.

2- The ability to re-decorate the interior designs of the villa:

Disadvantages of buying an independent villa:

1- Lack of green spaces:

Most of the residential complexes enjoy the presence of green spaces and natural views, and the management of the complex ensures the preservation of these green spaces surrounding the villa, especially those spaces separating the villas from each other, and it is not allowed to convert these green spaces into residential buildings, while the independent villa is not guaranteed that the surrounding spaces do not transform to residential buildings or streets, which exposes them to noise and reduces the privacy of their owners.

2- The need for permanent renovation:

Since the independent villas are resale, and the villa may be more than ten or twenty years old, the buyer is forced to make internal and external renovations, which forces him to pay more money to renovate the villa and its facilities, whether renewing the interior decoration or renewing the villa from the outside.

Note: There are some independent villas that are more like palaces in terms of space, services, luxury and level of luxury. There are villas that have a swimming pool, Turkish bath, jacuzzi, sauna, and backyard basketball, as well as having a front entrance for guests and the car, and a back entrance for the people of the house.
